12th Class Result 2026

The HSSC Part-2 (12th Class / 2nd Year) examination is conducted every year by the nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education across Punjab, along with the Federal Board in Islamabad. Students commonly refer to it as HSSC Part 2, 2nd Year, Inter Part 2, FA FSc Part 2.

Theory papers are usually held in April and May, with practical examinations following soon after. Marking and compilation take roughly two to three months before the boards announce results together.

For 2026, the 12th Class annual result is scheduled for 23 September 2026. Position holders are announced one day earlier, with separate rankings for Science and Humanities groups.

Candidates appear as either regular or private students. Regular candidates are enrolled with an affiliated institution which submits their admission forms and registration details to the board. Private candidates apply directly to the board and appear at designated centres. Both categories receive the same result format and the same certificate on completion.

Intermediate students move on to university admissions and professional degree programmes. Medical and dental admissions require the national entry test, engineering admissions require the relevant entry test, and most universities conduct their own admission tests for other programmes.

Merit for professional programmes is usually calculated from a weighted combination of matric marks, intermediate marks and entry test score. If you need your earlier marks, the 10th class result is also available on punjabresults.pk.

Collect your Detailed Marks Certificate and, once issued, your intermediate certificate from the board. Universities require attested copies of both at admission.
