10th Class Result 2026

The SSC Part-2 (10th Class / Matric) examination is conducted every year by the nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education across Punjab, along with the Federal Board in Islamabad. Students commonly refer to it as SSC Part 2, Matric, Class 10.

Theory papers are usually held in March and April, with practical examinations following in May and June. Marking and compilation take roughly two months, after which the boards announce results together.

For 2026, the 10th Class annual result is scheduled for 6 August 2026. Position holders are announced one day earlier, with separate rankings for Science and Humanities groups.

Candidates appear as either regular or private students. Regular candidates are enrolled with an affiliated institution which submits their admission forms and registration details to the board. Private candidates apply directly to the board and appear at designated centres. Both categories receive the same result format and the same certificate on completion.

Students who clear the secondary level can apply for admission to intermediate programmes. The most common choices are Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, I.Com and FA. Merit for admission to good colleges is calculated on matric marks, so a strong result opens more options. The 11th class result follows the year after you enrol.

Technical and vocational routes are also available. Diploma of Associate Engineering programmes run parallel to intermediate and lead directly into technology degree programmes. Short courses in IT, electrical, mechanical and other trades suit students who prefer skills-based training.

Collect your Detailed Marks Certificate from your institution as soon as it is dispatched. Most colleges require it at admission along with your character certificate and school leaving certificate.
